Link the workspace to Cloudflare with an API token

API token or dashboard session

Link the workspace to Cloudflare with an API token.

The token is checked against Cloudflare, then stored encrypted and never shown again. From then on, attaching a domain or protecting a site creates the DNS record by itself.

Attach your own domain to a tunnel, a CDN zone or a service.

The domain becomes active once its DNS points at the platform and a certificate has been issued, which is retried automatically.

Choose whether a hostname is served over HTTPS only, plain HTTP only, or both. It applies within seconds, to a service's address, a tunnel's, a zone's or a custom domain alike.

Over plain HTTP nothing is encrypted: passwords and cookies can be read on the way. It is meant for what cannot speak TLS, such as old devices and some game or IoT clients.
